Ms. Madeeha Shahid hails from Rawalpindi and is a faculty of Human Resource and coordinator for one of the centers of excellence, Center for Industrial Linkages at NUST Business School Islamabad. She has completed her MBA in HR, with a specialization in change management and organizational innovation from Bahria Institute of Management and Computer Sciences, Islamabad. She has been an active member of different societies and clubs including Multimedia Club, Arts & Literary Society, Rector's A Team. She was also a participant at the First Entrepreneur Summit and HR Confluence at LUMS, Lahore and supports the education expenses of a 6 year old boy, Fayyaz at SOS Village.

Politically, Madeeha Shahid was affiliated with Blue Party and during this term, she served as the Youth Minister for Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs for the period of November 8, 2009 to May 29, 2010
