  Asbah Rehman

  Brief Profile  

Ms. Asbah Rehman hails from Lahore and was born on the October 5, 1988. A straight-A student during her GCE O and A Level studies at Beaconhouse School System, Rawalpindi, she is currently pursuing an MBBS from Army Medical College, NUST. While at Beaconhouse, she was involved in a number of extra-curricular activities and school elections, notably acting as general secretary for the school's science club and arranging science exhibitions for junior students. Ms Rehman is also passionately dedicated to charity work. Until the age of 18, she was regular member of the charity organization, Young Friends of Al-Shifa, where she was part of a team that organized and attended several workshops on 'Personality Development' and 'Organizing Volunteer Efforts'. In the aftermath of the October 2005 earthquake, she volunteered at the Shifa Eye Trust and Railway Hospital. Ms Rehman is a currently an intern at the charity school for street children, Rah-e-Amal.

Politically, Asbah Rehman was affiliated with Green Party and during this term, she served as a Member of the Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs & Defence
