Mr. Lehrasip Hayat hails from Hafizabad and was born on July 9, 1988. He holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Government College University (GCU), Lahore. He is currently pursuing an LLB (Hons) at University College Lahore (UCL) through the University of London External System. While at GCU, he was president of the Garrette History Society and attended a survey course on American history that was organised by the US Consulate in Lahore. Currently, he is involved in mock parliament debates at UCL. Mr. Hayat is interested in politics, international law and identity formation.

Politically, Lehrasip Hayat was affiliated with Green Party and during this term, he served as the Youth Leader of the Opposition
